Deforestation

Deforestation is the large-scale removal of trees in the forests. Deforestation is usually done by humans to take raw materials to make goods such as house furniture and to expand the land for mining, roads, agriculture and urbanization.

Deforestation is usually done by human. Usually, they do deforestation by cutting down the trees and burning the trees. However, deforestation is not only done by human purposes, sometimes it happens when the natural disaster appears.

Forest is very valuable for our life. Forest is needed to provide habitat for animal species and releasing oxygen. Besides, forests can help to increase water quality and to keep our climate stable. However, there are not so many people who care about our forest. There are a lot of deforestation activities until now.

Nowadays, many countries already make regulations and laws about deforestation. This is the way of the government to protect its forest. However, there are some people who try to cut the trees illegally. These people do not care with our environment, they keep doing illegal logging without knowing what we will face in the future.

Effects of Deforestation

Loss of Habitat

When cutting down the trees, the animals and plants will lose their habitat. It is because forest is the habitat of animals and plants. If we do not control deforestation, we will ruin their ecosystems and the worst part is we will lose so many species in the future.

Green House Gases

Besides releasing oxygen, the forest also can absorb carbon dioxide. As long as the forest still exist, they function as greenhouse gas filters. When the trees are cut down, the carbon dioxide that absorbs in the trees will release into the atmosphere

When carbon dioxide remains in the atmosphere, it will alter the climate in that region. So, destroying the forest will lead to climate change.

Affects Water Cycle

Deforestation will impact to our water cycle because trees absorb and retain water in their roots. The trees also help control the level of water in the atmosphere by helping to regulate the water cycle. With fewer trees left, due to deforestation, there is less water in the air to be returned to the soil. In turn, this causes dryer soil and the inability to grow crops, an ironic twist when considered against the fact that 80% of deforestation comes from small-scale agriculture and cattle ranching

Global Temperature

Plants absorb Carbon Dioxide CO2 (a greenhouse gas) from the atmosphere and uses it to produce food (carbohydrates, fats, and proteins that make up trees). In return, it gives off Oxygen. Destroying the forests mean CO2 will remain in the atmosphere and in addition, destroyed vegetation will give off more CO2 stored in them as they decompose. This will alter the climate of that region. Cool climates may get a lot hotter and hot places may get a lot cooler.

Deforestation has so many negative effects to our life. We may not feel the effect now, but in the future, we will face the negative effects of deforestation. Therefore, we must use products that are made of byproduct briquettes to reduce the number of deforestations.

Smoke Cabin

Smoke Cabin

Smoke Solution develops a set of efficient filtering system that can remove most of the airborne pollutants. There is an automatic motion sensor installed in each of the cabin and alternatively regulates the speed of the filtering system according to the movement inside the cabin. For their filters, Smoke Solution uses its own produced CO 2 neutral coconut charcoal. The harvest of the coconut shells is in a sustainable manner, without posing any harm to palm trees, animal habitats or the environment.

The ashtrays of the smoking cabins are fireproof and self-extinguishable. Lighted cigarette thrown into the ashtray will be extinguished and thus remove the risk of fire. Smoke cabins are modular and freestanding, they can be resized and relocated to fit in different locations, and follow the user patterns.
