The Best Charcoal for Grilling

charcoal briquette

After three years of testing and a total of 115 hours of research, including personal barbecuing experience, I’m convinced that coconut BBQ charcoal is the best charcoal for your grill. This charcoal burns hotter, lasts longer, and produces less ash than nearly every other briquette we tested.

Let me just give a short brief of how coconut charcoal should be preferred over other types of charcoal:

Coconut charcoal briquettes are very green fuels. During the production process, no trees are cut down and the coconut shells that would otherwise be thrown away are processed to be very useful fuels. A chemistry-free production ensures a superior quality of eco-friendly briquettes which helps preserve natural flavors of the food without leaving any unwanted odor.

Compare to traditional lump / wood briquettes for barbecue, coconut charcoal briquettes have unique advantages:

100% natural without chemicals.
Longer burning hours compared to traditional charcoal, which means more economical.
Consistent heat makes cooking more manageable.
Less sparks during cooking ensures that food is roasted.
Odourless helps preserve the natural flavors of the food.
Minimal ash keeps the cooking area clean and easier clean-up.
Requires less storage due to uniform shapes.

With the satisfying experience with coconut charcoal, it has now become my exclusive choice of barbecuing fuel. Try it and you will also think the same.
